How It Works
PLLA-SCA (the active component of Sculptra®) consists of micro-particles of varying sizes
that gradually break down over time, triggering your body’s natural collagen production.
- Step 1. Reconstituted Sculptra® is injected into the deep dermis or subcutaneous layer.
- Step 2. The hydration carrier creates an immediate filling effect (temporary).
- Step 3. Within days, the water is absorbed; only Sculptra® particles remain.
- Step 4. Your skin begins generating new collagen fibers around the particles.
- Step 5. As collagen builds, wrinkles and folds gradually improve.
- Step 6. The Sculptra® particles fully break down, but the new collagen remains — providing durable, natural-looking improvement.

Aftercare
